Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

Yes, we prefer that you make an appointment so we can ensure one of our consultants is available to assist you. An appointment will also guarantee you a private fitting room and seating for your family and friends! To make an appointment, please call us at 661-874-9700.

How long will my appointment last?

Each appointment lasts around an hour and a half. In this time, you'll browse our dresses with your consultant, try on six to eight gowns, and narrow down your selection to make an educated decision on which dress is "the one". You may not take the full hour and a half -- but you also may go longer. We will never rush you at Enchanted, so there is no need to worry about taking "too long".

What is the price range of your dresses?

Our wedding dresses range from just under $1200 to approximately $3400; most fall between $1400 to $2000. Your consultant will work closely with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of the gowns you choose to try on.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

A positive attitude is the most important! Let’s be real, planning a wedding can be downright stressful at times, but wedding dress shopping is the fun part! We suggest bringing1-4 of your closest friends and family. From experience, we have noticed that it can become very overwhelming if you bring your entire bridal party to an appointment -- every person means one more opinion. Bring people who understand YOUR style. You should also bring any undergarments that you plan on wearing on your wedding day. This may include a strapless bra, nude underwear and other shape wear. It may also be helpful to bring a pair of heels to get a better idea of what the dress looks like.

Can I buy a wedding dress off the rack?

It depends on the dress. In most cases, we prefer to order you your own with your specific measurements, however if there is not time to order accommodations can be made with a floor sample.

How long do wedding dresses take to come in after they're ordered?

It usually takes four to six months for a dress to arrive, so please take that into consideration when scheduling your appointment. Once the dress arrives, you want to allow one to two months for alterations. We ideally recommend beginning the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience! If you are unsure if you will be able to order a gown through our store due to a shorter engagement, we invite you to give us a call so we can talk through some options in regards to ready to ship gowns and off the rack options.

Are alterations included in the cost of the dress?

Alterations are an additional charge. Nearly all wedding dresses require a hem, a bustle and additional tailoring through the bust or torso to achieve the perfect fit. Some brides even use alterations to customize sleeves, straps, necklines and other details. Alteration prices will differ from gown to gown. We have wonderful seamstresses we can recommend who are experienced specifically in wedding dress alterations.
